Meet DJ Zio “The Mixed Genre DJ,” a talented Latin DJ/Musician born and raised in Rochester NY. Having knowledge of music equipment and always wanting to be in control of what music was being played, he was frequently asked to DJ private events. This allowed Dj Zio to develop his skills and to start building his playlist. At the age of 18 Djing became a greater part of his life, while dedicating more time for practice and creating mixes. He would listen and analyze his favorite DJs mixes like DJ Alex Sensation, DJ Danny S, DJ Tiesto, Local Dj’s and many others. Soon, people began booking him for their events as they became familiar with his Djing skills. This was an opportunity for him show his talent within different crowds. Four years later at the age of 22, DJ Zio took it to another level and began promoting. Being in the promotional/DJ business helped DJ Zio gain experience and meet new promoters. With the knowledge and skills earned, DJ Zio began Djing in some of the hottest venues in Upstate NY. Zio believes that a club DJ should be able to adapt to different crowds, spinning all type of music, which in fact is one of his greatest qualities earning him the nickname “The Mixed Genre Dj”. His mixes could rock any crowd Latin, HipHop, House, EDM, Reggae, Trap, and much more. He is able to recognize the right music for the right time and incorporate the best from old school to what is hot today. Now at the age of 24, DJ Zio is currently expanding his skills…and aggressively becoming one of the many best in his local area and migrating around NY and soon other States.

DJ Kalifornia – Kalifornia’s professional reputation stands on his diverse musical sensibility and effortless command of style. Starting at a young age, he was gifted with the art of understanding rhythm and knowing what makes people happy in the music scene. Having over 15 years of experience, he mixes & scratches smoothly through Hip Hop, Old School, Top 40 Dance, & Breakbeat to his own custom tracks and music videos, as well as his originally produced real-time live remixes & mashups that you would hear in much bigger clubs in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Miami. In demand for his mega-mix style, he has moved club goers all over the country and continues to draw crowds where ever he spins.
DJ Kalifornia has been ONE’s longest resident DJ 
and he has the honor of winning the 2008 NY Select Award for being the cities Top Voted Night Club DJ and won the 2012 City Newspaper “Best Of Rochester” award for Best Nightclub DJ. He has also been nominated and was a finalist in the “Best Of” awards in 2008, 2010, 2011, and 2012. He’s currently signed with Drop Zone Records, and spins for Beatfreak Productions, & Kinetic Soundz…2 national Promotion Companies, as well as the West Coast Underground DJ Squad (based out of San Diego) and Love Life Clothing (based out of Maryland). He is one sick party DJ that you never want to miss out on hearing!

SATURDAY NIGHT: Upstairs Club
Over the past 16 years, Richie has developed his own signature sound that could be best described as a fusion of funky, tribal, electro house, mashups, dutch house, and progressive accented with sexy vocals, trippy sounds, and big build ups. This sound was a way of life for over six hundred clubbers weekly at Club Tonic which they called home. Richie was the resident DJ at Tonic for 8 years. Over the years Richie has been accustomed to packing dance floors at special events during the days at venues such as Club Red & Club Vibes, both located in Rochester NY, and has played countless events for Orion Productions, and Jammy Productions during the late 90′s and early 2000′s. With the scene moving forward in 2004 Richie established a new residency at Club Pearl for 5 years. In the Summer of 2009, he became the new Saturday night resident DJ upstairs at ONE Nightclub. Here he continues to drive house music to its highest level. Richie has access to the most up to date promo tracks and has proven his ear for the music.
Throughout the 16 years as one of the longest resident djs in Rochester, Richie has gotten to play alongside the ranks of DJ Dan, Bad Boy Bill, Tommy Sunshine, Donald Glaude, Jelo, Starkillers, Kill the Noise, LA Riots, Sandra Collins, DJ Rap, Angel Alanis, and Terry Mullan, just to name a few. He has also traveled up and down North America as well as the Mid-West DJ’ing in Toronto, Cleveland, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Baltimore,Cchicago, Wisconsin, and Indiana. With over a decade of experience, extreme dedication, and the ability to electrify any crowd!
